Pictured above is Katie Spotz. She will ring in the New Year with a little boat trip across the Atlantic Ocean to raise money for a clean water campaign. Spotz will disembark from Africa sometime as soon as next week. She is very close to exceeding her fundraising goal of $40,000. Learn more about her cause at her website.
